The injuries suffered to our injured motorcyclist client included a neck sprain, rotator cuff tendinopathy with subacromial bursitis of L shoulder, back sprain and strain, sacroilitis, and sprain and strain of MCL of knee. The rear-end collision occurred at the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Terrace Street in Muskegon, Michigan.  Our client was stopped at the light on Shoreline Drive on his motorcycle with a vehicle stopped behind him.  Another vehicle came to the intersection without stopping and rear-ended the vehicle behind our client. Due to the high-rate of speed the negligent driver was driving at, the impact of the crash pushed the vehicle behind our client into our client and his motorcycle.  The police determined the vehicle that did not stop at the intersection negligent and ticketed the driver for failure to stop.

The negligent driver was insured through State Far insurance.  Therefore, due to the fact that the driver was determined negligent and cause for the Michigan motorcycle accident, State Farm is responsible to provide payment of Michigan No-Fault benefits to our client.  This will include payment of medical expenses, wage loss, attendant care and replacement services as necessary and as incurred as a result of the failure to stop motorcycle accident.

The No-Fault lawsuit seeks damages for payment of the unpaid medical expenses, penalty interest and penalty attorney fees.  The case was filed in the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan. No trial date has been set by the court.
