Kalamazoo County Drunk Driving Accident Injures Biker

A 21-year-old Mattawan biker was injured in a Kalamazoo County Drunk Driving Accident in Texas Township on Monday, June 1.  According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff, the biker was traveling westbound on Third street when a pick up truck, driven by a Kalamazoo man, allegedly failed to yield the right of way to the biker and turned in front of him off of Q Avenue. The Michigan biker tried to stop but was unable and slid into the truck. The biker was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. The pick-up driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
