I read in the paper today about a Berrien County Fatal Motorcycle Crash that seriously injured a biker and killed his female passenger. Michigan State police believe that the bikers were traveling down Stevensville-Baroda Road in Lincoln Township when they allegedly collided with a deer that had jumped in front of them.
According to police, both biker and passenger were thrown from the bike. The male biker sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and the female passenger sustained critical injuries. Both bikers were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, where the woman eventually died from her injuries. Police continue to investigate.
I am sorry that this accident happened. I hope the biker has a complete and full recovery. I offer my most heart felt condolences family of the woman for their loss.
